FAQ’s
1. Can I lay Synthetic Turf myself?
Yes you can, as we provide full installation & maintenance guides.
It is suggested though that installation is better with at least two people
to make the turf easier to manoeuvre (comes in 2 metre widths).
2. What if I want someone to come & install it for me?
Ask the supplier you bought it from for details of their own
installers or contact us & we may be able to arrange a
quote for installation only.
3. What
else do I need as well as the grass?
A crushed rock underlay is needed along with seaming tape,
adhesive, clean dry white sand & granulated rubber.
Refer to the installation guide for ratio details.
4. Where
do I get the accessories required like tape, glue & rubber?
You can purchase them direct from your Synthetic Turf supplier or contact us.
5. What if the grass gets wet -
how does it drain?
If there is heavy rain the water will soak through the grass via the
perforations in the latex backing & drain as natural grass does. If being
glued to concrete ensure that there are drainage points as you would with
any other form of paving.
6. Is Synthetic Turf pet friendly?
Yes, the grass is pet friendly. Urine will not harm the synthetic grass and
will evaporate, other animal mess can be picked up the same way you would remove it from
natural turf.
